Establishment of Rainfall Thresholds for Shallow Landslide in Rangamati Sadar, Bangladesh
Dr. Mahmuda Khatun, born in Tangail, Bangladesh, holds a Ph.D. in Geological Sciences from Jahangirnagar University. Her research focuses on engineering geology and geohazards in Rangamati. She also completed an M.Tech. and Postgraduate Diploma in Remote Sensing and GIS. Currently a Professor at Jahangirnagar University, she has published widely and is active in professional organizations, including IAEG Bangladesh and the National Earthquake Society of Bangladesh. Dr. Khatun is the IBNG WEG Chair and represents Bangladesh at ARC15 of IAEG.
